New My Little Pony Movie has Release Date Set for Early November 2017

We’ve been reporting the new concerning the first feature-length My Little Pony movie since it was first announced way back in October 2014.  We reported that actress Kristen Chenoweth would be coming on board to voice a major role, and we also reported that the new Pony movie will not be associated with the Equestria Girls characters.

So, it should come as no surprise that a release date has been set for the movie of November 3rd, 2017.   This information has been reported on such websites as Box Office Mojo as well as Wikipedia.

As far as plot is concerned, Wikipedia states:  “The film concerns a threat looming over Ponyville, and it’s up to the Mane Six to save the day.”

Those behind MLP: FIM has stated at the various conventions and via various interviews since the film was announced that they are making big efforts to make the film feature-length MLP movie not feel like an extended episode but a truly cinematic effort.

And to take it all a step further, it is rumored that Daniel Ingram will also be working with a full-scale live orchestra to produce the film’s musical score.

Stay tuned as more news about the movie is announced.
