my little pony national toy hall of fame inductee 2014Well, maybe….

Yes, there is a National Toy Hall of Fame situated in update New York and on November 6th of this year the Hall of Fame will announce their annual inductees.

“All of these toys have been around for some time, ” says Patricia Hogan, curator of toys and dolls at the private museum…”They are not a passing fad and are well known, well remembered, and well revered.”

Those inducted into the Hall Of Fame on 2013 include the Rubber Duck and the game of Chess.

With last years’s inductees known it seems a bit out of left field that the nominees this year would include My Little Pony and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Who votes to get the toy inducted into the Hall of Fame? Each year inductees are selected from thousands of submissions worldwide by the Hall of Fame advisory, select educators, academics, collectors and experts.
