As if we didn’t all assume that this was going to happen way back at the half way point of Season 4…My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic has been renewed by The Hub for Season Five. The Hub Network has ordered up another 26 episodes and these will supposedly begin airing in 2015, yet, The Hub said that Season Four was going to start airing in 2014, even though it actually started in late 2013.

So what will be in store for us Ponies in 2015? Yesterday’s big “What’s the Hubbub?” press conference with Tara [Strong] and Meghan [McCarthy] provided us no insights, but it’s fair to assume that the network will be teasing us in the upcoming months with clips, drawings and other MLP goodies to keep us galloping.

And don’t forget…. With the success of Equestria Girls the movie, we’ll also be getting the second installment in that franchise as well. My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks. The follow-up EG film is currently in post production.
