Equestria Girls to premiere on The Hub Network September 1st.

My Little Pony: Equestria Girls will be airing on The Hub Network on September 1st, 2013 at 9a.m. EST/PST time.

The plot of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls features Twilight Sparkle and her quest to retrieve her stolen crown from the Crystal Empire. Tracking the thief, Sparkle enters into an alternate My Little Pony universe where she is turned into a teenage human girl. To find her crown, Twilight Sparkle must survive her biggest obstacle yet: high school. With the aid from some of her new human friends, who are all really versions of her pony pals, Twilight Sparkle sets out to find the crown and get back to her own world.

The movie premiere will be part of a bigger My Little Pony programming event on the network. It’s scheduled to follow a My Little Pony Fan-Favorite Marathon airing from 10 a.m.-noon ET.

Starting July 22, voting will be open to all viewers at Hubworld.com/vote4ponies, where fans can vote once a day and play online games to earn up to 10 more votes daily.
