There are probably a lot of MLP fans that might not be aware of how things used to be done in the good old days. Back in the 1950s, for example, Hollywood producers used to create a movie poster for a movie before it was even made; and sometimes, those movie posters would be created before there was even a script, actors signed on to appear in the movie, etc.

They would produce the poster art just to attract an audience, stir up excitement, and perhaps give those with an interest in whatever the poster claimed something to look forward to in the coming months.

With that in mind: Are we the only people that are wondering as to whether or not this is kind of what people at Hasbro and Little, Brown are maybe trying to do to bronies? While it is exciting, it sure is also kind of odd that information about a new Equestria Girls book, here the object of affection in question, Equestria Girls: Make Your Own Magic: Starswirl Do-Over should have a listing on Amazon without much in the way of secondary details to entice folks to pre-ordering.

Written by Whitney Ralls, who is a writer and stand-up comic, the only information about this new Equestria Girls book on the internet seems to be that it will be 144 pages; and that it promises to be “An exciting ‘Make Your Own Magic’ book from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls! This brand new series will tie you into the You Choose the Ending content from the all-new Equestria Girls digital series.”
