Legends of Everfree Gets Emmy Nod

unnamedSome news that we can rejoice in!

My Little Pony: Equestria Girls: The Legend of Everfree has just been nominated for an Emmy for “Outstanding Original Song.”    We can find out if “Everfree” is the winner at the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which is set for April 30th, 2017.

“The Legend of Everfree” was composed by Daniel Ingram and the lyrics were written by Ingram, as well as Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco.    To be sure, this certainly isn’t Hasbro’s first Emmy nomination.  The studio has been nominated in the past 5 years alone for 27 awards.

Daniel Ingram, the lyricist, and composer behind Legend of Everfree, also received a nomination last year in the same category for his original song featured in Season 6 of Discovery Family’s My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

The nominated song, “Legend of Everfree,” hails from Hasbro Studios’ popular My Little Pony movie special, My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree, the third installment of the brand’s popular spin-off series. The nomination continues a stellar track record of success for Hasbro at the Daytime Emmy’s.
