The German Equestria Girls site is fun. With a click of the mouse, everypony can take a peak that the new Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks figures. There are six figures available, naturally. Hopefully, this will make it to the USA and Canada (probably), but for the meantime, you can stare at them over HERE with dubious amazement and glee that someday soon you’ll have them in your hands (hopefully).
Thanks to Equestria Daily for posting this great shot of some Princess Celestia fan art done on the side o a car in Russia. Yes, this picture is even taken near the Moscow Kremlin, to boot!
We think that Princess Celestia would be mighty happy to know that some fan in Russia plastered her likeness on the side of a car, wouldn’t she?
Beautiful art, beautiful design–copious beauty, indeed.

Did you see Suicide Squad? Did you wonder what the deal was with Captain Boomerang’s interest in pink unicorns? Well, in a recent interview, Director of Suicide Squad David Ayer confirmed that the character is a My Little Pony fan.
“[Pinky] was actually intended to be a piece of set decoration in one of our office building sets. I thought [Boomerang] needed a little something kind of fun and silly and it kept appearing throughout the film. It became a bit of a mascot. Yes, [he’s a] Brony. “
Suicide Squad 2 is to set to start filming in early 2017. We’re wondering if we’ll see more My Little Pony in the next movie, or maybe perhaps, even a My Little Pony Suicide Squad spin-off?
Perhaps you’ve heard the name Elinor Shapiro before. If not, you probably should be familiar with the world-famous doll inventor’s work, as Shapiro has worked on some of the most recognized toys ever. Shapiro worked on Barbie, but also the Disney Princess dolls of recent years. Shapiro is suing Hasbro in California, claiming that the mega brand snatched up the designer’s idea of merging the My Little Pony figures with other toys. According to the source, Shapiro, “claims she gave Hasbro a detailed presentation, offered up prototypes, and explained her marketing vision. Instead of paying,” the artist for her work, “Hasbro simply trotted out its own version of the dolls” instead.
Shapiro’s design was dubbed “Wishables.” Hasbro commercially released figures very similar to her designs in Fall of 2014 at the $5.99-$7.99 price point.
As per Shapiro’s lawsuit, and per the source of this articles, “there hadn’t been any other doll line at that price slot that was based on those elements, until Shapiro came along with the ideas and strategy for it.”
Shapiro claims that Hasbro was in breach of contract in doing this, but also violating her copyright as well as violating California’s trade secrets laws when they released her design for Rainbow Shimmer ponies in 2014. The case will go to trial on September 27th, 2016.

From River Horse press comes “My Little Pony: Tails of Equestria” — our very own “pen and paper” RPG.
From River Horse Press release:
You want to see something cool? Check out the full cover of My Little Pony: Tails of Equestria by clicking on the picture above (or here!). You see? Pretty cool, that’s what you will have to be looking out for later this year when we release the full game! For those of you not in the know, we at River Horse have been working our hooves to the bone to bring MLP and traditional roleplay gaming (RPGs) together (MLPRPG or Milerperpegeh) and its been a blast! I thought I would take this moment to talk a little about the cover, a hugely important part of any book!
What design choices went into the cover?
We knew pretty early on what we wanted out of the cover, we wanted to show anyone who looked at it what they would be getting when they opened the book, that is to say ponies and adventure! Working with the fantastic Amy Mebberson, we decided that catching an adventuring party halfway through their travels would give the best impression. So it went that we created a party, following the classic three person fighter/wizard/rogue set up that is such a staple in traditional roleplaying games. My little pony is a fantastic introduction to roleplaying games partly because of its vibrant world and varied species which meant we could show the magical unicorns, strong earth ponies and speedy pegasi in an instant and people would immediately identify with the archetypal party we made. After that it was a matter of placing them in an adventure (navigating through the Everfree forest!) and the rest fell into place.”
We’re not certain as to when this will be made available for pre-order but if you continue to watch back here on Brony.com, we’ll update everyone as the information becomes available.
The stream of Pony books never ends, and here, again, is another.
Princess Cadance and the Glitter Heart Garden is slated for release on January 12th, 2017. The book will feature Princess Cadance with her determination to bring love back to Equestria. She creates the Glitter Heart Garden where the plants have a rather unusual effect on her fellow ponies. But will she and her pony friends be able to fix everything and restore happiness back to the kingdom?
As this book as just been announced there is little information out there as of today, but stay tuned here, as we’ll let everypony know where they can order it when it becomes available.
